When concrete is not an option or a very expensive option, the base in-ground anchor is a great alternative. Made of durable heavy-duty plastic, it will not rot or split - providing a solid mounting platform for many of our site furnishings. It’s easy to install using a compacted granular base coarse aggregate. For a more secure mounting method, it can be embedded in a small concrete footing.

The anchor can be used in a variety of applications.

Installation examples where they are currently used include below pavers, in grassy areas, or integrated into asphalt. We modify the anchor to accommodate the mounting of the specific product being used. In a surface mount application, the top board is custom cut to match the bolt-down points, ensuring a perfect fit. We can then pair the colour of that board to perfectly match the lumber used to assemble the product itself.
